Hosted Sports Day!

#simishblogs
Got a chance to host our school's Sports Day Event and here's something that I want to share... <3 :D
I started hosting in the year 2018 when I used to take dance classes for toddlers. It was then that the owner of the class told me to try my hands at hosting one of their events. I remember being nervous and scared of how it would go. (I still do not know how it went, haha) But, she called me up and encouraged me, even more, to take it further.
I used to hesitate at first but as years passed, I started hosting various events like birthday parties, baby showers, etc, with my friend and sometimes alone! (I still used to be very nervous to host alone, thinking about how the audience would react and what if they did not react at all)
I usually post all my work on my Social Media handles and one of my sirs from Edubridge happened to come across one of my hosting posts and asked me if I'd like to host for our School Sports Day!
Nervous and doubtful at first, I thought of giving it a try
& Voila! It happened!!!! One of the best hosting events I've ever had to date. Of course, there were a few teachers who had concerns about my hosting style (This is not how you should host. You should be formal. You should know there are parents around. This is not how you should handle a crowd and whatnot) Of course I took their feedforward but then I was also encouraged to be my usual-bubbly-self by the PE team and other teachers!
& phewwww! This hands-down was one of my best hosting experiences ever, for sure! I had a fantastic time interacting with the parents, students, teachers and didis. We played games while hosting, shouted, screamed, danced, and went all ga-ga and whatnot!!!
And, the 'cherry on the cake' moment was when I conducted a Zumba session for both students and parents!
All the things together that I love, happened together and I couldn't and cannot express how it feels even today!
A memorable and rewarding experience, 14th January 2023 will always remain special!
Grateful, Thankful and only Gratitude! <3
